All students continue to study English and Maths including GCSE retakes if they have not yet achieved grade C.

They have enterprise projects, external work placements and a full programme of work related learning. Students visit companies and employers come into the college to talk to the students, become involved in their studies and act as mentors. They have high quality industry standard facilities in their vocational areas including art fashion studios for creative arts, computer design suites, industry standard kitchens, real restaurants and salons and construction workshops. Because of these facilities and their work related and enterprise projects, employers say they find students from further education colleges are better prepared for work than students from sixth forms.
